Safety
Health and Safety
Field sampling is not as easy as just opening a valve and collecting the fluids or gas. Many safety and environmental concerns need to be addressed prior to any collection process. Pressure, temperature, flammable vapors, hydrogen sulfide gas and harmful chemicals always need to be recognized beforehand. Sample locations are often located in tight quarters and one needs an awareness of their surroundings and equipment. Hydrocarbons need to be captured in a steel container that is properly grounded or bonded to eliminate static discharge. Environmental
Environmental measures must be considered when purging or flushing a sample point. These discarded fluids need to be disposed of properly to prevent any harmful contamination of the lease site.
Services
Water and Oil Sampling
Produced water samples for a Complete Water Analysis, Phosphate and Amine Residuals or Fe/Mn. Crude Oil Samples for API Gravity, Paraffin/Asphaltene content or other lab analysis.
On-Site Water Analysis Field Gas Testing
Time Critical Dissolved Gases Include pH, Carbon Dioxide, Bicarbonates and Hydrogen Sulfide. A Chlorides Count can be performed as well.
Serial Dilution Bottle Inoculation / ATP Sampling
On-Site APB/SRB Serial Dilution Vial Inoculation or ATP Reading. Other Bacteria Testing Methods available as well.
Gas Bomb Sample
Gas Bomb Sampling for a Composite Gas Analysis.
SWD Service
A Full SWD Service is offered including a Complete Water Analysis with Field Gases, Millipore Filter Analysis, Serial Dilution Bottle Inoculation or ATP Reading, Total Percent Hydrocarbon Sample, and Dissolved Oxygen.
Millipore Filter Analysis
Millipore Filter Analysis Testing can be provided for SWD inlets, discharges or elsewhere in your water system.
Gas Detection Stain Tubes
Gas Readings of Hydrogen Sulfide, Carbon Dioxide, Water Vapor and others can be gathered throughout your gas infrastructure.
Coupon Extraction and Replacement
Corrosion and Scale Coupons of all types can be routinely replaced on both High and Low Pressure Systems.
FLIR Imagery
We offer Thermal Imaging for SWD tanks, separators and other vessels. This can help determine interface pads, fluid levels and inconsistencies in flow.
Wellhead Grind-Out
Basic Sediment and Water (BS&W) along with paraffin and emulsions can be determined with a Wellhead Grind-Out.
Tank Thiefing
Tank Thiefing Services are offered for samples at the top, middle and bottom of a stock or other tanks. A sample can be collected or just observed to visually check fluids and levels.
